The Harz Clinic Dorothea Christiane Erxleben GmbH (client) is a health center of the focus supply with locations in Quedlinburg, Wernigerode and Blankenburg. The Harz Hospital looks after around 100, 000 patient cases annually, including 28, 000 inpatient, and comprises 20 clinics and 8 partlyCertified medical centers. As part of digitization and optimization of clinical processes, the Harz Hospital plans to introduce a patient data management system (PDMS) at two locations. The measure serves to digitize and optimize clinical work processes. Goal isIt is to digitally support the documentation-intensive areas of intensive care and the anesthesiologically conducted operating areas and to sustainably improve patient safety, quality of treatment as well as process and documentation efficiency. The specifically expected services resultfrom the tender documents, in particular from the project description, as well as from the service description. As part of the digitization strategy 2025 of the Harz Clinic, the funding was given as part of the "Future Program Hospitals" according to the Hospital Future Act ("KHZG": Law for OneFuture program hospitals (hospital future law-KHZG) of October 23, 2020, BGBl. 2020, p. 2208) Various digitization projects in accordance with Section 14a Hospital Financing Act ("KHG") in conjunction with §§ 19 ff. Hospital Structure Regulation ("KHSFV"). In thePromotion 3 "Digital care and treatment documentation" in accordance with Section 19 (1) sentence 1 no. 3 KHSFV, procurement was requested and approved.
