The services requested as part of this award procedure are an image database, which the Westdeutscher Rundfunk Cologne (WDR) is tendering for itself and on behalf of the following broadcasting companies and broadcasting companies' facilities: Deutschlandradio Deutsche Welle As Neue Image database, a digital asset management system (DAM) is to be introduced in a cloud-based environment (Software as a Service - SaaS) and cloud services with administration options. The new image database system must have multi-client capability or a different system architecture, which achieves the goal of strict separation of business areas, data sets and user management. The introduction of the image database and implementation of the services will initially take place for WDR. The bidder is expected to provide an implementation concept for the other broadcasters. A staggered schedule The consideration and implementation of the other broadcasters will also be determined in dialogue with the selected bidder, whereby WDR is keen to ensure prompt and smooth implementation. The needs of broadcasters in detail: WDR: migration and management of 14 million photos, User circle of at least 1, 950 users in the portal plus 50 experts, 250 concurrent users.
