The Government of Kazakhstan (hereinafter-GoK) and ISDB defined the strategic objectives of the Project which aims to improve agricultural productivity, ensure food and water security for vulnerable communities, and build resilience to climate change and natural hazards by mitigating water scarcity, reducing irrigation losses, and enhancing agro-ecological zoning.Through the Project, UNDP will step in to provide support to the holistic approach and implementation of the specific components of IsDB Project, by providing technical expertise, promoting and facilitating coordination, and ensuring alignment with international best practices.
