The Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP) is a multi-disciplinary, multi-phase, bi-national project undertaken by the Governments of the Kingdom of Lesotho and of the Republic of South Africa in accordance with a Treaty signed between the two countries in 1986. The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) is a statutory body constitutes under the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority Order No. 23 of 1986. The LHDA is charged with the responsibility for implementation, operation and maintenance of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP) in Lesotho. To ensure the successful operation of the Project, LHDA has determined that various processes of Phase I and Phase II require an independent assurance that existing controls are effective. You are hereby invited to submit Technical and Financial Proposals for Provision of Professional Services for Internal Audit Services on Specialized Audit Projects. More details on the specific services to be provided are included in the Scope of Services (Section 3).
