Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) is the federal economic development agency (client). GTAI intends to conclude a five-year service contract to carry out internal auditing.
The client is funded almost 100% by the Federal Ministry for Economy and Energy (BMWE) based on a resolution of the German Bundestag in the form of a non-repayable institutional grant (according to Section 44 BHO).
According to the audit regulations of August 4, 2025, the internal audit department (IR) is obliged to carry out one to two mandatory audits and one to two annually Carry out focus tests.
