Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Integrated Development Project Kita and Surrounding Area, Phase 2 (PDRIK II).

1. The Government of the Republic of Mali has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to finance the
Integrated Development Project of Kita and its surroundings, Phase 2 (PDRIK II). A part of the sums granted under this loan must be used to make the payments provided for under the contract resulting from this International Call for Tender.

Payments will only be made after the funding agency has approved an application submitted by the Malian State in accordance with the
terms and conditions of the financing agreements. These payments will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of these agreements.

2. The Ministry of Agriculture, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Mali, launches an International Call for Tender for the
construction of a bridge over the Daroumé at Kénédiéfè in the Kita cercle.

3. The works will be made in a single lot, including:
A reinforced concrete girder bridge of 4 spans of 18 m on Daroumé to Kénédiéfè and development of access roads.
• Demolition and clearing of existing debris;
• Embankment: 20, 000 m3
• Rolling course: 3, 500 m3
• Total concrete volume: 1, 500 m3
• Total weight of iron: 95 tonnes
• Total surface of formwork: 3, 400 m2

4. The period of execution of the work is eight (08) months (excluding the rainy season). The period begins to run from the thirtieth day of the date of
receipt of the service order to start the work.

5. The area of ??work is the region of Kayes and precisely in the circle of Kita which is located in the west of Mali. It is limited to the South by the Republic
of Guinea, to the East by the region of Koulikoro, to the North by the circle of Diéma and to the West by the circle of Bafoulabe.

6. The Administration responsible for the contract is the Ministry of Agriculture.

The withdrawal of the Tender File will be, from 08/01/2019, against payment of the sum of One Hundred Thousand (100, 000) CFA francs excluding shipping costs (or its equivalent in a currency convertible), in cash or by check made out to the Manager of the PDRIK 2 Management Unit.

7. All bids, written in French, must be accompanied by a bid bond issued by a bank approved by the IDB (or
its equivalent in a convertible currency) in an amount equal to fifty million dollars (50 000 000) of CFA Francs .

8. The closing date for the receipt of tenders shall be 05 March 2019, not later than 10 am GMT, the deadline, irrespective of the method of dispatch or submission of tenders. Mailings, fast air mail or other means of dispatch are at the risk and peril of the sender. However, the offers can be received in the room, just before the actual opening of the folds.
