The Government of Senegal provides SNU with a building with offices equipped for all United Nations agencies in Senegal. This project is called a house and is located in Diamniadio, 40 km from Dakar, halfway between the center of Dakar and Aibd de Diass airport. The United Nations house should be operational by the second half 2023. The objective is that all systems, IT environments and service providers are selected and functional by then. The United Nations Project team: Independent Project Unit (IPU) manages the establishment of the house of United Nations in Diamniadio. The IPU reports to the resident coordinator and a management council made up of all the heads of the United Nations organizations in the country. The objective is to launch a consultation with service providers for a complete inspection of the infrastructure, IT rooms and verification of all ICT building installations.
