Construction services Ford stopped production of the FOCUS at the Ford Saarlouis plant in November 2025. Ford will remain on parts of the site with a reduced number of employees. The entire site consists of the former Ford Plant, which will gradually be reduced to an area called “FCSP” and the formerly associated Ford Industrial Supplier Park “FISP”. The freed up space will be used to relocate the Ravensburg pharmaceutical company Vetter, This requires a gradual dismantling of areas and the infrastructure on and underneath them, as well as their redesign. The present partial measure in the overall scope of the Saarlouis Roden industrial area (ISR) is referred to as “Los 8: Cable laying”.
