Expression of Interest are invited for Implementation of Restoration Activities in Degraded Hotspots Areas of Albert Nile Catchment.

The overall objective of the assignment is to undertake restoration activities with emphasis on capacity building of the recipient communities, practical/ and theoretically, to ensure reliability and sustainability of the proposed interventions. It is desirable that organizations to be engaged are those already working in the target catchments and with experience in undertaking asks similar to those m these TORs. The specific objectives arc thus: I. Identify relevant stakeholders and community groups within the selected areas and organize sensitization meetings at Sub County and Community level II. Conduct transect walks with the stakeholders to carry out a rapid assessment of the level of degradation and possible interventions ? the hotspots previously identified m the baseline surveys and/or the CMPs III. Conduct capacity budding sessions for the identified stakeholders in the specific restoration activities and initiatives IV. Implement the identified restoration activities
