Implementation of postal services in Hamburg 1.1 Subject of the contract The post office at the Deutsche Bundesbank location in Hamburg provides the Deutsche Bundesbank (client) with postal services. For the approximately 170 thousand to be delivered annually A service contract must be concluded for shipments. 1.2 Name of the service The subject of the service is the provision of mail services. The letter service within the meaning of this contract is the transport and delivery of unfranked items Letters up to 2, 000 grams provided on the basis of the specifications of the Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Post (Federal Network Agency) in accordance with Section 16 Universal Services (Postal Act - PostG) as well as their collection as an additional Service. 1.3 Services for letter transport and delivery The contractor collects the shipments from the Deutsche Bundesbank's collection points in Hamburg every day from Monday to Friday and delivers them to the recipients. On public holidays there is no pickup or delivery. 1.4 Types of shipments The types of shipments are differentiated in this contract according to the product categories and terms of Deutsche Post AG. The majority (97%) is printed using computer addressed and is therefore completely or almost completely machine readable.
