The school infrastructure in Essen is mainly shaped by the building structure of the 1970s and was over time through additional school buildingsexpanded. Due to the strong growth of the population in Essen since 2015, significantly more apprenticeships and school-building capacities have been needed. An advanced need to investigate is available in the form of school development planning for the respective school forms. A large number ofRefurbishment and new construction measures must be implemented in the coming years. To successfully implement the measures, the city of Essen is supported by its subsidiary IME, which requires powerful and reliable partners for the new construction and expansion measures.
