House B VE 314 interior doors and frames House B of the student housing complex in Ilmenau/Max-Planck-Ring is to be extensively renovated. The existing building organization with a central staircase and central aisle will be retained. By removing the Non-load-bearing interior walls break up the cell structure and generate spaciousness for each apartment. The existing gable roof will be dismantled and a new full floor will be built using a prefabricated wooden structure. Every student has a private wet room with shower and toilet. Residential units are planned on all upper floors, while the five upper floors (ground floor, 1st-3rd floor and new staggered floor) are completely reserved for living, in the basement there are technical rooms, Caretaker's office, washing machine room and bicycle parking are accommodated.
