The University Hospital Magdeburg operates an energy center. The energy center is located on the site of the clinic, south of Brenneckestrasse. House 54 and several separate technology buildings (switching houses MS/NS, emergency power unit are located on the site of the energy center i.a.) The house 54 is a complex with a steel building hall and a massive cultivation, which serves as the accommodation of social rooms, control center and area of residence. In the house / steel building hall, systems for refrigeration, hot water production, heating and steam generation are housed, which among other things. Care patient -leading houses, as well as 2 CHP gas engines that create the campus's own current. In house 54 in the existing there is a fire alarm center, to which surveillance facilities and alarm devices of the above technology buildings are connected. This BMA is too for the building expand. A comprehensive surveillance and alarm must be produced in the building. Due to the system density under the ceiling/roof, smoke detectors can only be used to a limited extent. The use of linear detectors or smoke suction systems must be examined. The examination of the completed system by A recognized expert must be included in the planning/tender.
