Justification Pursuant to the directives of the Federal Government, the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has undertaken wheat import operations, awarding contracts for the import of 550, 000 MT of wheat. To ensure effective handling, supervision, and round-the-clock monitoring of cargo at the ports, management has deployed vigilance staff across two shifts. Due to a shortage of pool vehicles within TCP, it is imperative to hire two rental vehicles to facilitate pick-and-drop services for the deployed staff for the duration of the operation. With the first vessel scheduled to arrive on 28th October 2026 and operations commencing on 29th October 2026, immediate procurement is critically required to prevent operational disruption.
