Expression of Interest (EOI) are invited for Hiring an Indiviual to Provide Implementation Support for Building a Financial Services Hub by Activat­Ing a Wealth Management Industry in Rwanda.
RDB is upgrading its approach to increase operational invest­ments. The overall purpose of this project is to attract and deliver investments in the financial services sector specifically in private wealth management thereby making Rwanda the preferred financial services centre in Africa. Specifically, this assignment seeks to ensure that a number of global banks and wealth managers open representation offices in Rwanda, This assignment specifically builds on the insights generated from the global banks customer profile and high net worth mdividual customer portrait and looks to support RDB staff in the implementation of the programs needed to unleash the private wealth management sector. This will include working with RDB staff to gain further buy-in from local stakeholders and to further connect the PWM initiative with the greater objectives of establishing Rwanda as a financial services hub. It will also look to solidify partner­ships both locally and internationally. Lastly, it will support RDB staff in translating those insights into commitments from banks and other wealth managers.
SCOPE OF WORK
Transforming insights and recommendations into action and impact
Facilitate a half-day workshop with the RDB team to discuss key actions to develop Rwanda's financial service hub through a wealth management sector.

Create solid pitch books to be used in outreach to wealth managers and global banks

Identify and develop MOUs with key partners in­cluding educational institutions in order to increase skill levels in the country therefore strengthening our financial services hub offering

Identify government agencies, and other finan­cial centres and develop MOUs with them to ease Rwanda's transition into a financial service hub by creating valuable partners for both knowledge and customer sharing.

Facilitate a task force that will ensure that the financial services strategy takes off by consolidating quick win gains from wealth management.

Support RDB team to demonstrate how wealth management will lead to a solid financial services hub therefore increasing buy-in from key local stakeholders.

In collaboration with RDB, carry out at least three investment outreach events to three global banks.

Demonstrate how other financial service hub offerings such as BPO, and PE can take off from a solid wealth management offering.

Support RDB in building buy-in from key local stakeholders by providing presentation tools
