The Thalia Theater building is supplied with heat via the existing district heating connection. The handover takes place in a separate room in the basement without system separation. As part of the measures, a basic renovation of the heating center is planned, which is directly connected to the district heating network. The aim is to minimize heat losses and reduce risks in the event of an accident. As part of the renovation, a premix will be installed to cover the heating groups that will be renewed in 2025 To supply the ventilation system of the auditorium with low temperatures. The premix also has an emergency function in order to meet the requirements of the district heating provider's technical connection conditions. Particular challenge of the work is the dismantling of the existing artificial mineral fiber (KMF), which requires the creation of black areas.
