The client, Deutsche Klasselotterie Berlin, hereinafter referred to as DKLB, is the lottery company of the state of Berlin. Through the law on the German Class Lottery and the German Class Lottery Foundation (DKLB Law), it has taken on the task of carrying out Gl. on behalf of the State of Berlinto carry out gambling and lotteries. For this purpose, the DKLB operates various virtual servers for the central gaming system in two redundant data centers.
The underlying hyperconverged infrastructure will reach its end-of-(service) life in the near future. In order to remain fail-safe andd to be able to operate at the state of the art, we are looking for new technology to operate our services as part of this call for tenders. The essential requirements for a new system are summarized below.
