The city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler intends to restore the spa park that was destroyed in the flood disaster of July 2021 and has commissioned its subsidiary, Marketing GmbH, to manage the restoration. The spa park of Bad Neuenahr is home to the "Grosser" healing spring Sprudel", whose fountain technology and systems were destroyed in the flood disaster in July 2021. The fountain technology was originally housed in a separate building on the grounds of the thermal bath house opposite the spa park. This building was destroyed by the flood and it now exists the need to rebuild the well technology. Due to the functional relationship of water pumping to the spring in the spa park, there is a need to rebuild the fountain technology in the immediate vicinity of the spring. The new fountain technology will be installed in the basement of the existing building Kurpark terrace arranged. For this purpose, an approx. 24 m2 ceiling opening is created on site between the basement and ground floor.
