The city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler intends to restore the spa park that was destroyed in the flood disaster of July 2021 and has commissioned its subsidiary, Marketing GmbH, to manage the restoration. The spa park of Bad Neuenahr is home to the “Großer Sprudel” healing spring, whose fountain technology and systems were destroyed in the flood disaster in July 2021. Originally, the fountain technology was in a separate building on the grounds of the thermal bath house opposite Kurpark housed. This building was destroyed by the flood and there is now a need to rebuild the fountain technology.
