BSR operates a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) based on Omnissa Horizon 8. The backend environment consists of 16 host systems on which 1, 200 virtual desktops are currently operated. To optimize the user experience within VDI Each host was equipped with two NVIDIA Ampere A16 graphics cards and the required NVIDIA vGPU software was installed. To use the software, NVIDIA vPC subscriptions are used, which are included in this tender should be extended for a term of at least 2 years.
