The RVK is a transport company whose core traffic area extends over the Euskirchen district, the Rheinisch-Bergischer district and the Rhein-Sieg district on the left bank of the Rhine. The service is provided both on our own lines and on behalf of the customer other transport companies. As part of the construction project, RVK intends to build a depot for fuel cell and battery-electric buses. The approximately 13, 500 m² building plot is located in Bensberg, a district of the City of Bergisch-Gladbach. The area is located east of the L195 Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse and west of Steinhaus Street. A support structure with a hydrogen production plant, an office and administration building with a parking deck and Inspection hall, 3 bus carports, a gantry car wash for buses and the associated traffic areas are being created. An asphalt traffic area and two heated ramps as well as drainage for the company premises are to be created on the company premises. The Traffic area extends over around 8, 000 m², the area of the ramps is approx. 550 m². Around 520 m of sewer plus the associated shafts and connecting pipes need to be constructed for drainage. In addition, around 4, 200 m of empty cable conduits are connected to the appropriate cable pull shafts to be laid.
