General planning services for new construction of the Allerstrasse Brake pumping station The OOWV operates the “Allerstraße” waste water pumping station and a new storage basin that was built in 2022 on a former sewage treatment plant site on Allerstrasse in Brake. In normal operation The wastewater flowing in via gravity canals is passed on from the “Allerstrasse” pumping station directly to the Brake sewage treatment plant. If there is an increased inflow of wastewater, a portion of the wastewater can flow into the storage basin via storage pumps located in the pumping station be knocked off. After the inflow of wastewater from the sewer network has subsided, the stored wastewater is drained into the pumping station in a free fall and conveyed to the Brake sewage treatment plant. The maximum storage amount is approx. 2, 500 m3. The pumping station points significant structural defects. To replace the pumping station, a new pumping station will be built directly on the property.
