BID-UEMOA HYDRAULI PROJECTRURAL SANITATION AND SANITATION The Government of Senegal has requested and obtained funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in the amount of US $ 12, 500, 000 (US dollars) to finance a portion of the IDB Project. UEMOA Hydraulics and Sanitation in the middleand intends to use the funds to pay for supplies, works and services to be procured under this project. 1. The project will consist of the following components: a) Construction works and hydraulic equipment: International invitation to tender limited to member countriesthe IDB; (b) Rural sanitation works: National competitive bidding; (c) Equipment of the project coordination unit: National competitive bidding or consultation of local suppliers; d) Consulting services for the monitoring of construction works and hydraulic equipmentes: Short list of research firms from IDB member countries; e) Community activities for rural development: Short list of local law firms; f) Recruitment of a financial auditor: Short list of local firms or individual experts. 2. Finance Markets pIDB will be conducted in accordance with the procedures specified in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Procurement, financed by the Islamic Development Bank (November 2006 edition) and are open to all candidates who fulfill the conditions stipulated in the guidelines. The consultantsThey will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants in Projects Financed by the Islamic Development Bank (November 2006 edition). 3. Notices relating to the different steps that must be taken in accordance with the competitive appeal proceduresthis International Islamic Development Bank will be published, their communication, on the site of the Bank (www.isdb.org), in at least one commercial newspaper having a large international diffusion and in newspapers widely distributed of the Republic from Senegal. 4.
