Kaiserslautern general drainage plan - hydrodynamic sewer network calculation and dirt load calculation. The Kaiserslautern city drainage system (STE) is planning a new general drainage plan for the catchment area of the Kaiserslautern central sewage treatment plant (GEP). The subject of the tendered engineering services is the comprehensive hydraulic and emissions-related analysis of the drainage system, including the development of an integral renovation concept based on a bidirectional coupled hydrodynamic 1D/2D sewer network and dirt load calculation. The catchment area of the Kaiserslautern central sewage treatment plant covers an area of approx. 4, 200 hectares. The sewer network is around 519 km long and consists predominantly of: Combined sewers, supplemented by wastewater and rainwater sewers. Drainage is predominantly carried out using gravity gradients, but is supplemented by numerous special structures, pumping stations, retention systems and complex control structures. Additionally are several third-party networks from neighboring communities are connected to the drainage system. The processing takes place for six hydraulically defined sub-areas, the results of which are then combined into an overall model. The aim of the services is this Complete, realistic depiction of the existing drainage system, the assessment of its hydraulic performance and proof of the emission-related requirements. Based on this, there are technical and economic reasons Develop renovation strategies for the current and forecast status.
