As part of the further development of applied life cycle assessment for buildings, groundbreaking environmental and energy analyzes should be made possible with the help of a parametric building model, for example for circular or particularly sufficient construction methods. This research project will, on the one hand, The overarching goal is to analyze interactions between operational and building-related environmental impacts in more detail. On the other hand, specific recommendations for action should be derived by means of life cycle assessment comparisons of structural variants. The examination of components and the Consideration of dismantling potential in applied life cycle assessment represents a further field of investigation. With the help of the parametric building model, statistical evaluations can be carried out, which are used to derive and validate relevant limit values in the national context can be. In addition, the model offers a suitable basis for methodically mapping and quantitatively analyzing national transformation paths of the future German building stock. The project takes up the work on the BBSR building model and enriches it with new ones parameters.
