The area "BindeGlied Altstadt-Kinzig-Suedstadt" characterized in the attached site plan (Annex 1) is registered as a project area as part of the BUND-LANDER program "City Reminder" by decision of the city of Gelnhausen and by the state of Hesse in the funding program by decision of October 17, 2016 "City conversion Hessen" (since 2020 "growth and sustainable renewal"). The area comprises an area of approx. 18 ha. The estimated funding period of the overall measure is 2016 to 2025, followed by the financing. To support the urban planning measures, a further procedural accompaniment advertised.
The primary goals of the project are an upgrading of the area by adapting to today's and Future requirements in structural, energetic, functional and tourist terms.
