Tenders are invited for Framework Contract for Developing a Fair Certification Framework for Tourism Sector in Uganda.

Phase 1: Develop a fair tourism framework for the tourism and hospitality sector in Uganda Phase 1 Tasks; i. Develop data collection tools and assess the demand for fair tourism certification. ii. Make consultations with various stakeholder constituencies at the national level to solicit their input towards fair tourism certification for the tourism and hospitality sector in Uganda. iii. Mobilize the actors of the tourism and hospitality sector around the importance of fair tourism certification label and ensure/organize their participation in setting up the certification iv. Prepare jointly with the stakeholders a draft fair tourism Certification Framework on Tourism and hospitality sector in Uganda that will be validated by Enabel and key stakeholders. The Framework should include (not limited to); • Proposition of the name and logo, • Governance of the fair tourism certification organ, • Fair tourism certification protocol, criterion and standards and tools, • Fair tourism certification committee and its composition, • Sustainability strategy (including a financial strategy and business plan) • Marketing and visibility strategy (at national and international level) • Action plan for Implementation of the Framework
