In order to fulfill their tasks, public broadcasters are absolutely dependent on a powerful and functioning IT infrastructure. This also includes industrial computers in 19-inch format and workstations in various versions Areas such as video and audio production as well as other tasks. The 19-inch industrial computers to be procured are primarily for installation in broadcast and production studios as well as in central technical rooms via KVM solutions respective broadcasters. They are also used for other tasks. These computers are in continuous 24/7 operation and take on critical functions for broadcast-relevant and production-related applications. This results in particularly high demands on the reliability and availability of the systems used. Existing framework agreements for the procurement of these systems are reaching the limit of their maximum term, and those used so far Replace systems with new, state-of-the-art devices.
