Framework agreement for the procurement of new CNG buses for Zwickau city transport (2026 - 2029)
The city's public transport system Zwickau is implemented by Stadtische Verkehrsbetriebe Zwickau GmbH (SVZ GmbH) and has two tram and thirteen bus lines. The The bus network is currently operated with a total of 29 CNG buses. As part of an open procedure according to the SektVO, SVZ GmbH intends to award a framework agreement for the delivery of low-floor buses with CNG drive and school bus approval the approval conditions of the Federal Republic of Germany valid on the day of delivery. The framework agreement serves the gradual renewal of the existing fleet between 2026 and 2029 and includes the binding obligation to deliver two low-floor CNG articulated buses as well as an optional delivery call-off of a low-floor CNG solo car (standard) in 2026. In addition, further call-off options are to be offered, which grant the client the right in 2027 and 2029 for up to two low-floor CNG articulated buses and up to three low-floor CNG solo cars (default) per year.
