Framework agreement for moving services As a university of excellence with more than 43, 000 students and around 6, 000 employees, the University of Hamburg (hereinafter “UHH”) is one of the strongest research universities in Germany at the same time one of the largest training facilities in Northern Germany. With its concept of the “Flagship University” in the Hamburg metropolitan region, it maintains innovative and cooperative connections with scientific and non-scientific partners. It produces the future-oriented social goods of education, knowledge and exchange of knowledge for the location - but also nationally and internationally - under the guiding goal of sustainability. The aim of the procedure is to obtain a high-performance service provider for carrying out (regular) moving services for the University of Hamburg. Relocations of varying sizes are continually necessary at the university. Moves can take place over several days as well as several small moves in one day. As a rule, a reasonable advance planning period, which is customary in the industry, is granted. In individual cases, however, removals can also occur at very short notice within 24 hours.
