Framework agreement for cleanroom items In a multi-stage project by 2026, the Fraunhofer Society (FhG) is planning to set up a “battery cell research production facility” (FFB), in which novel battery cell concepts and processes will be combined with digitalized, flexible and... modular manufacturing methods should be combined and researched. The aim of the FFB is to reduce the development effort for the highly scaled production of the latest lithium-ion battery cells. In this way, the FFB is intended to reduce the risk of industrial partners the transfer of novel cell concepts and production technologies into large-scale production and significantly reduce the entry hurdles for new manufacturers. Furthermore, the FFB facility is intended to contribute in the medium and long term To ensure the qualifications of specialist personnel for battery cell production. The FhG was commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to plan and implement the FFB as part of the FoFeBat research project. As part of the project PreFab puts a production line into operation for research purposes. To operate the clean and dry rooms, clean room clothing is required, here disposable clothing is required in the first step. This clothing must be approved for cleanroom class ISO 8.
