The river structures that are the responsibility of the Weser-Jade-North Sea Waterways and Shipping Office (Bremen and Bremerhaven locations) are monitored and maintained by the responsible outlying districts of habenhausen, Farge, Blexen and Oldenburg in accordance with VV-WSV 1116 and VV-WSV 2101.
The Strombauwerke are heavily stressed and damaged by weather-related influences such as storm surges, floating ice, suction and waves. The constant maintenance of the river structures (e.g. groynes, dams and revetments) is the responsibility of the management of the individual outskirts. For entertainment will be large crowdn on armourstones (different size and weight classes, depending on the intended use). In order to be able to guarantee a regular basic coverage/supply, a framework agreement on the delivery of armourstone is required. The framework agreement enables a timelyand flexible on-site armourstone delivery as needed.
