The State Office for the Environment (LfU) intends to use an open procedure to conclude a framework agreement based on an EVB-IT creation contract for adaptation developments and ongoing operational support for the individual software "QUIS". The Application QUIS refers to the web-based transverse structure information system of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The data processing application is integrated into the DataScout specialist portal of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and offers the water management administrations via the intranet Possibility to maintain and query transverse structure data or to carry out specific calculations. After the application was developed in 2005, the original range of functions was expanded several times. In addition, adjustments were made to improve the Ease of use and regular updates of the analysis and query tools carried out. The current QUIS user documentation provides detailed information on operation and the entire range of functions of QUIS. QUIS enables access to a database with all currently documented transverse structures (QBW) in Rhineland-Palatinate waters with a catchment area = 100km².
