Klifoplan 2026: “Development of an open source electricity market model for the federal government-s reporting on greenhouse gas projections” The subject of the tender is the further development of an existing electricity market model and its Provision as an open source electricity market model for the federal government's reporting on greenhouse gas projections in accordance with Section 5a of the Federal Climate Protection Act as well as the associated documentation and application description. The project aims to build a... transparent, reproducible and long-term usable modeling basis for the energy sector in the model network of GHG projections. The service includes in particular the professional and technical specification as well as further development Model architecture, the conception and implementation of data storage and data interfaces, calibration and test operation, the implementation of parallel operation in the context of the GHG projections, the scientific support and integration of the specialist community as well as the comprehensive documentation, versioning and open source provision of the model as well as a user manual. In addition, there are requirements for reproducibility, traceability, documentation and interface capability in the model network fulfill. We are looking for bidders with relevant experience in quantitative energy or electricity market modeling, especially with investment and dispatch-based optimization models, model development, data and interface conception as well as comprehensible scientific and technical documentation.
