The purpose of this REOI is to update vendors on the UN requirement and identify suitable service providers to be invited to the tender exercise.The UN intends to conduct a procurement exercise for the provision of two (2) tasking lines of fixed wing manned aircraft for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) services in support of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). The aircraft and service components will be based in Mopti as the Main Operations Base (MOB) but, for operational reasons, one or more aircraft may be temporarly relocated to other locations such as Kidal, Gao and Timbuktu, if required. In due course the requirement may grow to delivering similar capabilities to operate at other MOBs, in addition to Mopti.The UN is seeking a turn key solution, including the provision of aircraft in accordance with (iaw) the standards contained in Annex 8 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (the Convention) and associated service components, maintenance, personnel and exploitation/analysis of the imagery and data.
