As part of the further development of the technical operational capabilities of the fire departments in the Paderborn district, a remote-controlled fire fighting robot needs to be procured. The aim of the procurement is to provide the emergency services with a robust, versatile and... to provide a remotely controllable device that is to be used in particular in operational situations in which there is an increased potential for danger to fire brigade members or where direct access is not possible. The extinguishing robot must be able to to take on extinguishing and support tasks under extreme conditions - such as fires in industrial facilities or tunnels as well as in underground car parks, when there is strong smoke or heat, during NBC operations or in impassable terrain. These include in particular firefighting with water or foam, smoke extraction and ventilation of buildings and tunnels, the pumping of extinguishing and dirty water, pulling out or moving vehicles, material transport and additional technical Tasks. Due to the requirements for off-road mobility, stability and tractive power, a tracked chassis is absolutely necessary. This ensures safe movement even on slippery, uneven or destroyed surfaces and enables use on Ramps or stairs and offers high stability and tensile strength while maintaining a compact design. The drive must allow precise control and positioning even under adverse operating conditions. Furthermore, it is particularly important that the extinguishing robot has an integrated pressure booster pump for dispensing extinguishing water. The device has modular interfaces that enable the use of various attachments and additional modules to flexibly connect the robot to be able to adapt to different application scenarios. An intuitive remote control with data transmission must also be provided to ensure safe handling and control even under difficult operating conditions....
