Tender Details

A feasibility study to support the above-ground and underground water supply in the Straussee catchment area is to be continued. The feasibility study is intended to examine whether it is possible under ecological and economic conditions to extract seawater from Lake Kriensee, wwhich is blended with swamp water from the dewatering of the Ruedersdorf limestone opencast mine and returned to the tributaries of the Straussee. In addition to achieving constant inflows into the Straussee again, there should also be an outflow via Annafliess, H. after the normal level in the Straussee has been reachederrensee, Beckerfliess towards Stienitzsee. This means that these wetlands should also return to an ecologically stable condition. The intended measure should also examine and evaluate the extent to which the introduction of "blended" swamp water into...the Klostersee/Roter Hofgraben, with discharge into the Straussee as a body of water subject to WFD reporting, does not lead to any deterioration in condition. The processing of the feasibility study is divided into two phases. The first phase, which has already been successfully completed, included questions regarding:Economic viability and approvability of the water transfer from Kriensee to Straussee.
