Title: Process digitization and data management of traffic regulations at municipal transport authorities and infrastructure operators. Background: The EU ITS Directive (2010/40/EU, amended 2023/2661) requires digitization and Provision of data on traffic regulations. The processes at local authorities are currently still characterized by media disruptions and central data storage is often missing. Goal: Prototypical analysis of the current processes in two municipalities different sizes and design of a continuous digital process chain. The result will be recommendations for action and an online guide for municipal users in order to ensure transferability to other municipalities.
