Tender Details

FE 02.499/2026/IRB “Spectral emission model of motorcycles for BUB and RLS-19” The calculation of the assessment level according to the 16th BImSchV and the calculation of the ambient noise level according to the 34th BImSchV are carried out using different calculation methods (RLS-19 or BUB). While the sound propagation models of the two methods could be easily harmonized, current spectral parameters for drive and rolling noise are missing for the harmonization of noise emissions from roads. Turns out to be problematic In particular, the drive noise parameters for two-wheeled vehicles do not correspond to the emissions approach of RLS-19. A new determination of the parameters AP and BP for drive noise of two-wheeled motor vehicles is also necessary due to the long time lag from their original investigation in the EU project HARMONOISE. The aim of this research project is to use the BUB model for noise emissions from roads (calculation method for ambient noise from ground-level sources). The basic coefficients AP and BP for the drive noise of the BUB of two-wheeled motor vehicles should be validated using measurements and, if necessary, redetermined. As a result, the models for the Noise emissions from BUB and RLS-19 roads provide results that are as identical as possible with regard to the A-weighted emission level. This means that the requirements for taking over the BUB are also intended to serve as a forecast model for calculating the assessment level be created on roads.
