With the progressive expansion of digital educational infrastructures (e.g. through the digital pact school), the requirements for IT security and network stability increase.
A modern firewall infrastructure is essential for:
- the protection of sensitive personal Data (e.g. student data, participant data),
- The safe use of digital learning platforms and cloud services,
- Compliance with legal requirements such as the GDPR,
- The effective central management of school networks and networks in general.
The existing systems are no longer in these requirements fully grown. There is an increased risk of safety and failure.
With the new model series of the Sophos Firewall xGS 3000 series, new, necessary features are implemented (TLS 1.3 Inspection (Fastpath), NDR (Network Detection & Response), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Machine Learning Traffic Classification, etc.), which reduce the risk described above.
