COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAM

The program is structured around six components:

Component A: Soil Health

The funds allocated to this component will be used to:

· development of databases of fertilizer dose recommendations for major cropping systems;

· installation of field demonstrations;

· the acquisition of equipment for the fertilizer quality control laboratory, equipment for the soil and plant analysis laboratory and nutrient management technologies;

· the acquisition of agricultural equipment;

· development of lowland lands;

· funding for capacity building activities and training of extension agents, producers and agricultural traders.

Component B: Availability and accessibility of seeds
