On the Tuttlingen school campus, structural renovation and modernization measures are being carried out on the buildings of the two municipal high schools, Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium (IKG) and Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium (OHG). Both grammar schools are being renovated and redesigned as 4-stream grammar school locationst and expanded, so that the originally 3-row OHG is supplemented by an extension with specialist classes to cover the additional demand. In addition, the outdoor facilities in the affected construction area will be rounded off in conjunction with a campus redesign.
The measures in the project include, among other things, ne comprehensive concrete renovation, an seismic retrofit, the renewal of the building services and the facades as well as an energetic upgrade to the KfW 55 standard. Furthermore, a new fire protection concept will be integrated due to the formation of clusterstten instead, so that a section-by-section outsourcing of the classes in interim containers is necessary.
