Extension of the ramp system at the “Am Emberg” stop In recent years, the number of passengers in Cologne has increased significantly. Although the number of passengers declined overall in 2020/21 due to the Corona crisis, the development has been reversed determined since 2022. This leads to capacity bottlenecks not only on line 1, but also on lines 4, 13 and 18.
