Extended Detection & Response (XDR) - Solution
The subject of the award is the procurement and implementation of an Extended Detection & Response (XDR) solution with the aim of significantly increasing IT security through modern detection and reaction mechanisms and, in particular, identifying advanced threats at an early stage and treating them effectively. The Esslingen Clinic operates an extensive IT infrastructure with numerous IT endpoints, including PCs, thin clients and servers. In addition, there are networked medical devices (IoMT) and building management systems (BMS), which, however, are not the subject of this tender. The endpoint security currently used is based on a signature-based basic solution (Sophos), which does not provide any advanced functions such as behavior analysis or endpoint detection and response (EDR). The project pursues the following strategic and operational goals: •Replacement of the existing signature-based endpoint security with an XDR solution with state-of-the-art behavior analysis, machine learning and forensic analysis capabilities •Establishment of complete endpoint visibility and control for all IT endpoints...
