The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.The WorldFood Programme (WFP) intends to procure locally produced rice, beans, and iodized salt and invites eligible local suppliers to register interest in the supply of these commodities.Interested local suppliers are required to complete the Initial Paper Assessment (IPA) form, or request the questionnairevia email CO.Gambia.Tenders@wfp.org.The completed IPA form and all required supporting documents should be submitted by email to gambia.procurement@wfp.orgDEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 13th May 2025To be eligible, suppliers must meet the following minimum criteria:➢Have the legal capacity to enter into acontract (evidence of business registration to be submitted.➢Ability to export to other countries➢Have at least three (3) years of experience in the production and/or trading of food commodities.➢Proven financial capacityAll responses and supporting documentation received will be treated as strictlyconfidential and will not be made available to the public.
