The Kiel Canal Waterways Construction Authority is planning to set up a long-term storage facility for dredged material, soil material and other mineral materials from the Kiel Canal and from the expansion projects on the NOK with a maximum storage period of 3 years for each material delivered Flemhuder Lake on a total area of ​​around 75 hectares.
