Expansion of the Tengern sewage treatment plant - mechanical engineering secondary clarification tank 2 Machine technology secondary clarifier 2 The municipality of Hüllhorst operates the Tengern sewage treatment plant, which was expanded in the 1990s. Parts of the old sewage treatment plant, such as: e.g. the trickling filter system is integrated. The Tengern sewage treatment plant is to be expanded to 17, 000 population equivalents and equipped with a second activation plant with aerobic sludge stabilization and secondary clarification. The strengthening takes place in two construction phases. This tender includes construction phase 1. The existing trickling filter system will be dismantled in a subsequent construction phase.
