The subject of the procurement is the expansion and partial renewal of the existing ISILON/PowerScale storage infrastructure of the Leibniz Institute for Plant Biochemistry (IPB). The aim is to provide additional storage capacity to ensure this a powerful, highly available and integrated central storage system for data-intensive research projects. The scope of services includes the delivery of the required hardware and software components including installation and integration the existing system, commissioning and the associated support services. Expansion of the existing ISILON/PowerScale storage infrastructure The procurement includes the expansion and partial renewal of an existing one ISILON/PowerScale storage infrastructure of the Leibniz Institute for Plant Biochemistry (IPB). The subject of the service is the delivery of additional storage nodes including the necessary hardware and software components for integration into the existing system. The new components must be suitable for co-operation within a unified PowerScale cluster and enable seamless expansion of the existing storage environment.
