Expansion of Alfter High School / total contractor agreement The municipality of Alfter intends to build a new extension building for the high school at the location of the existing Oedekoven school campus (Am Rathaus 11, 53347 Alfter-Oedekoven). Subject of the project is the construction of a new extension building in three-dimensional wood or/wood hybrid modular construction with functional and structural integration of the already renovated existing building and the adjacent sports hall. The entire educational Usable space is approximately 7, 400 m² and is divided between the existing building and the new building. In contrast to the modular construction method, the ground floor (slope location, concrete/waterproof concrete) and the arena (wooden construction, no modular construction) are to be constructed in a conventional construction method. The new school expansion building should be put into operation at the beginning of the 2029/2030 school year (by May 2029 at the latest). Early commissioning at the start of the 2028/2029 school year (by May 2028) is the aim and will be used as an award criterion particularly rated.
