Tenders are invited for Re: Invitation to Tender for the Execution of the Ministry of Defence Capital Projects under the 2019 Capital Appropriation

1. The Ministry of Defence wishes to draw the attention of all interested bidders and the public to an earlier advertisement published in the Federal Tenders Journal, Daily Trust and the Punch Newspapers of 7th October, 2019 on Invitation to Tender for the Execution of the Ministry of Defence Capital Projects under the 2019 Capital Appropriation.

2. The initial deadline for submission for Category C – Invitation for Pre-Qualification (Works) and Category D – Invitation for Expression of Interest (Consultancy Services) was earlier extended from Monday, 28th October, 2019 to Monday, 11th November, 2019, while Categories A – Invitation to Tender (Works) and B – Invitation to Tender (Goods) remained the same (18th November, 2019) to allow for wider participation, another extension was effected due to the un-envisaged public holiday and other pressing Ministry’s activities for the bids opening. The bids opening for Category C and Category D could not take place and was extended to 18th November, 2019, while Categories A&B was also extended to 25th November, 2019. A third extension was again affected for all categories of bids for both collection and submission to Monday, 2nd December, 2019 for Category A & B and Monday, 25th November, 2019 for Category C & D.

3. Due to circumstances beyond the Ministry’s control, all bidders are hereby informed that collection and submission of bids for all the categories has been scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Monday, 9th December, 2019.

4. The opening of all the Bids should be immediately after close of submission to be held at: Dr. Ezekiel Oyemomi Auditorium, Ship House, Ministry of Defence, Area 10, Garki, Abuja

5. Companies or their representatives, Civil Societies, NGOS, Professional Bodies and members of the public are invited to witness the Bid Opening Exercise.

6. Other information in the advertisement remains the same.
